Y ou have reached the page for all functions having to do with creating and maintaining your membership in American Pilgrims. Here new members can join and existing members can login to our automated membership system.

It is the goal of American Pilgrims on the Camino to promote understanding of the Camino de Santiago as a unique human phenomenon, focusing on the benefits of simplicity, environmental awareness, basic human kindness, unconditional assistance to others, and a universal language based upon common experience rather than a shared culture or geography. Obtaining a membership in American Pilgrims on the Camino will help us to achieve these ends.

Benefits of membership, aside from the altruistic one of helping further the goals of the organization, include automatically receiving the quarterly American Pilgrims Newsletter, the 'voice' of the association, and personal notification of various events, including the Annual Gathering of Pilgrims. A discount on Gathering registration is afforded members. In addition our online membership system gives you access to the membership database, access to the full Newsletter archives and full access to all of the topics in our Camino forums.

An annual membership in the American Pilgrims on the Camino costs $50 per household.

American Pilgrims also offers a student membership at $25 per year. This membership confers all of the benefits as a regular membership. At the time of application you must be a currently enrolled, full-time student at any level. As part of the application, you will be asked to provide the name of your institution. The option of creating an additional household member is not available to student members.

If you will be renewing through our online renewal system, simply enter your old username and password in the fields below and then click "Expired Login". Forgotten your username or password? Just click on "Forgot Password?" and the system will e-mail it to you. Once you're in the membership system, renew using the Renew Membership link under Homepage.

If you renew online you can pay either by using a credit card or a PayPal account or by a mailed check. The benefit of using a credit card or a PayPal account is that your renewal will take effect immediately. If you elect to renew online but pay by check, you will be a provisional member with no online member privileges until receipt of your check at which time you will be converted to full membership status.

Join American Pilgrims:

To create a new membership, simply click on the appropriate "Join" button below.

If you will be joining through our online membership system, simply enter your e-mail address in the field on the page that appears. You will be able to create an individual membership or a membership that will include other members of your immediate household as well.
